Fuzzy basis function and Orthogonal Least-Squares

Hello people, i need some help to understand some definitions and implementation about fuzzy basis function and orthogonal least-squares (fbf-ols). The theory about it is found in this paper: http://sipi.usc.edu/~mendel/publications/Wang-Mendel%20OLS.pdf could someone help me implement/understande these algorithm in matlab ? Thank's to all.

I need to implement a parallel version of computing inverse of a matrix. The program has to be tested by running it on Dual and Quad core machines for various matrix sizes (5,10,50,100,500,1000). Can somebody please post the best possible parallel version of the C/C + code ? Computational complexity should be minimum.
