Chess program in Pascal
I would recall that in the end of the 1970's or in the beginning of the 1980's there was a series of articles either in the BYTE or the Creative Computing, in the article series a chess program in Pascal was listed, the complete source of the program was given. The once world correspondence chess champion Hans Berliner et al. had authored a chess program the CDC6000 Pascal, and this appeared in the magazine, in several chunks because the program was so long. hya friends, i have created a number based game called 'numfun'. it is a very simple game of course. first there is a buffer array 4x4 (level 1). 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 * the 16th square is blank represented by a *. i use another array 4x4, in which all the numbers have jumbled positions say 1 4 8 6 7 3 10 14 * 11 9 2 12 5 13 15 the user has move numbers into the empty '*' location and finally approach the positions of buffer array. the game works perfectly fine, but the |

Neural Net
1 name: Derek Smart He he, does anyone remember his claims? He is insisting it is true. But can somebody explain to me shortly, what was the basis of his claims? Is is theoretically possible to incorporate NN into a game like this ? Maybe he thought that a game-engine IS a neural net. And i think he watched too much Matrix - i remember when he talked that the "wood,rocks...etc." have AI. Like in the movie,where the "Oracle" said that there are programs designed for the Sunset/sundown , wind and trees ... ;) ;) Anyway, any thoughts? Cheers, T. |
