Has any one had any luck bringing in a file from 3d max 6 to SolidWorks.
Have not had any luck with the .stl export.

It would only fail if the STL is not valid, that is, it's not a closed
(water tight) volume.
So, there maybe a open seam or a facet failed to close?
I'm not sure if Max has repair or check tools but maybe if you reimport
the STL file you could check it?
