Dimensioning X,Y Coordinates in Drawings?

  • Follow

Is there a way to dimension X, Y coordinates in a
drawing view based on a user picked 0,0?

Example would be a composite of horizontal
ordinate dimension and vertical ordinate dimension
on one callout.

X=2"
Y=3 1/2"

Thanks.

The only way to do that in SW would be to add the dimensions as ordinate,
then link them into a note. Hide the original ordinate dimensions. If you
need to do a lot of this, you'll probably need to come up with a macro to
automate the process.
