I'm looking for an Old dos program, Stacker 4.1 (or later version).
( I have stacker 4.0 already )

I did a search on the web, found heaps of mentions, nothing useful.

Does anyone still have this program or know where it is available?
Any useful help is very much appreciated.

Regards.

The ".1" in Stacker 4.1 was only an upgrade to support Win 95 & long
file names. I don't even think it supports Win 95B FAT 32 partitions.

Stacker 4.x can have a nasty habit of conflicting with certain video
cards and trashing FAT's in the process. (Stay away from just about any
card with an S3 chipset...) Conflicts with low memory addresses used by
the video cards. Backup everything you can't afford to lose before
installing. If it works - fine. If it conflicts with your video card -
scrambled eggs for your file names and FAT. Try several different video
card resolutions to be certain you don't have a problem.

Why do you want to use it? I'm going though a slow, painful process of
eliminating it from a ton of removeable media right now. IMO it's too
slow and Stacker maintenance programs can take forever to run. (Which
means you are less inclined to run them...)

If you still want it send me a valid e-mail address at a box that won't
reject e-mail with 1.44MB floppy image attachments. I'll have to look
and see if I have a separate upgrade only or if my 4.1 version is a
complete set [3] of install disks.
