- This plug-in allows you to run a FileMaker script when you exit a field.
I have tried getting feedback from the author but he is not responding to my
e-mails!
I have just downloaded this and tried it out, these are my observations:
Tried it on a blank file 1 field and it works every time!
Tried it in an existing database with a lot of fields and I noticed the
following:
1) It did not trigger on exit, only when I clicked outside the field ie if
it went to another field automatically then it did not trigger until I
exited a field!
2) It did not work more times than it did but I could not see why that was!
I am using FM Developer 6
I tied it on a variety of field types, I set it to trigger regardless of the
change!
Anyone got any experience of this?

I have never had a problem with this plug-in. What calc or method are
you using to trigger it?

I tried that plug briefly, found EventScript (also free) to be much more
powerful. Run a script on entry, on exit, whatever.
One thing I have been having fun with is creating menus from pop-up lists.

And, the author is responsive.

But I believe EventScript is only available for FM7. The original
question was in regard to FMD6.

Yup, you're right. Overlooked that.
