Change the content of a field with the result of a calculation

I can't replace the content of a field with the result of a calculation !
Even I select the field, in menu "Records" , "Replace Field Contents...",
is not actived.

Other method is via script, use "Set Field" to copy to another field and than I can change the content. But I don't want use script. Is there a trick to do this change ?

Thank you

Either:
- the field you are trying to change is a calc field, which can't be
changed without changing the field definition;
- the field is an auto-enter calc field with the option to not allow
manual modifications;
- your account privileges don't allow you to edit that field;
- your account privileges don't allow for "all menus";
- you are using a custom toolbar that does not allow for Replace Field
Contents
