Hello

I have a list of IP adresses in my FileMaker Hosts preference file. I
would like to add a description in this file. Is this possible?

62.49.16.65 (IceCream Server)
65.48.58.65 (Jellybean Server)

The () doesn't work, would any other caracter?

No, but you can use DNS names if available, such as 
icecream.yourdoman.com or jellybean.yourdoman.com
