Importing multiple Excel spreadsheets into *one* FM 7 database
I have 6 different Excel spreadsheets.
I know I can drag *one* spreadsheet onto the FM 7 application and
convert that *one* spreadsheet into a new database using the field
names of "row 1" of the spreadsheet.
But I want to move all 6 spreadsheets in to *one* FM 7 database (using
6 tables).
Is there an "easy" way to do this import/conversion?
Yes, I could create the tables and then import the data, but I was
looking for some other kind of drag-and-drop import that would allow me
to get all 6 spreadsheets into one file.
Any suggestions?

I assume all the spreadsheets have the same field structure. In that
case, do a drag and drop of one of them to the FMP application to create
the necessary fields in a Filemaker database, then import the other
spreadsheets in to that database.

That's where you are wrong. ;-)
All 6 spreadsheets have different field structures.
My goal is to set up related tables within one FM7 database, rather
than making 6 related FM7 database *files*.
I ended up just creating the fields within each table and importing.
it didn't take that long, but I'm curious to know if there would be
another way to do this.
