I've been using Filemaker for years. I absolutely love it. It makes
designing databases so simple. The problem now is that at a new job, I need
to heavily access an Oracle server and run frequent SQL commands. What I
need is Filemaker-like simplicity for accessing those tables on an Oracle
Server. I want to see a list of the tables, click on the one I want, and
see a list of the contents. I'd like to be able to design simple forms with
buttons and graphics for custom finds, just like can be so simply done in
Filemaker. I'm on a PC now and Access just can't seem to provide simple
user interface design features or live Oracle table browsing. Anyone have
any suggestions?
Thanks.

4D for Oracle (http://www.4d.com) or Servoy (http://www.servoy.com) is
probably your best bet - they are both cross-platform and supposedly
easier to use than Access. FileMaker's SQL connectivity works, but it
doesn't do live browsing - it will import records into an FM database,
but won't work on the live data.
