```I want to be able to sort addresses by street, then by house number.  Now,
if I sort by "address" field, it sorts by number, disregarding street name.
Is there a way so separate house number from street name in the same field
or some other way to sort numerically by street name?  Thanks..
You can parse out the number and the name part of the address field.
Set up two new fields, one for street number, one for street name. Make
them calculation fields.
For the street number use the formula
For the street name you can use the formula
Now you can sort first by street name then street number.
