I have FM8A, but not 7. I don't know whether the sizes are identical.
My documentation (found in C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro 8
Advanced\English Extras\Electronic Documentation\FMPA8_Development.pdf)
states on page 69:
"6. To add a company logo or other custom image to the closing splash
screen, click Specify, select the closing image, and click Select.
The image should be at least 382 x 175 pixels (72 dpi) or higher, otherwise
it will be distorted when displayed. The supported image formats are JPEG
and GIF."
If you cannot find your documentation, you could simply preview the splash
screen, take a screen shot (Print Screen key on your keyboard), paste into a
graphics editor, and measure the space.
