How te return in a query all the dates between a date 1 and a date 2 ?

Example

Give me all the dates between 02/02/07 and 05/02/07 ?
In Europe the answer must be 4 dates : 02/02/07 ; 03/02/07 ; 04/02/07 ;
05/02/07.

If you mean that you want to filter all records that contain a date value
between XX and YY in a certain field, then create a select query and set the
criteria in the date field to:
        Between #02/02/07# and #05/02/07#

or better yet:

      Between [Enter START Date (mm/dd/yy)] and [Enter END Date (mm/dd/yy)]

or even better, create a pop-up form with unbound controls to capture user
entered dates, then use those values in your query.

        Between Forms!MyForm!StartDate and Forms!MyForm!EndDate

Look in Access Help for the DateDiff() function. It will return the number
of date units between 2 dates.

Hi,

in the one Europe I live, the dates between 02/02/07 and 05/02/07 are
two: 03/02/07 and 04/02/07

Anyway, you can try this

select somefield from sometable where somedate >= #02/02/07# and
somedate <= #05/02/07#

How do you create an Access SQL Query to list all Database Objects, or Queries only, with their Size, Date Created and Date Modified
.... or any good Access book which would cover this subject. Thank you for your help. J.P. Most of the information you mention is contained in the hidden system table MSysObjects - with the exception of size, and I don't know any way of getting that information. You can write a query - using the standard query builder, if that's your preference - to retrieve what you want. You'll probably need to do some googling to find what some of the values used in this table represent, but it's readily available (don't have any links to hand on the computer I'm using at the moment). The key thing is to use the Options dialog box (from the Tools - Options menu in A2003 and earlier; or by right-clicking the Navigate bar and choosing Navigation options in A2007 (and later, I assume)) to make both System and Hidden objects visible. Until you do so, you can't browse the system tables (there are several of them) or use them in a query. query to determine Start Date and End Date for consecutive dates.
I have a database that has various heavy equipment (machines) sheduled. Each piece of equipment is scheduled for a specific location and each day that the machine is at that location the date is in the table. A table named "tblEquipment", has the machine name, location and dates. The query below does a great job of finding the first and last date in the table for each machine, however, the machine may be in one location for two or three months, then it may not be scheduled for several months, then it may be scheduled for a different location for 6 months, etc. Can anyone help with the query below so that the StartDate and EndDate are only for -consecutive- dates? If there is a break in the dates, they will would get a new StartDate and a new EndDate. ====================== query below ============= SELECT tblEquipment.MachineName, Min(tblEquipment.MachineDate) AS StartDate, Max(tblEquipment.MachineDate) AS EndDate, tblEquipment.MachineLocation, tblProyectos.ProyectoColor FROM tblProyectos INNER JOIN tblEquipment ON tblProyectos.ProyectoNombre = tblEquipment.MachineLocation GROUP BY tblEquipment.MachineName, tblEquipment.MachineLocation, tblProyectos.ProyectoColor; You're having this problem because your table is not correct! Finding the Later of 2 Date fields in a query to make a 3rd Date field

Re: A date function or date issue
I do hope you aren't dying as a result of a SAS problem ... you might consider finding alternate employment if that's the case. You should look at the DATEPART() and TIMEPART() functions. Converting Numerical Dates to Conventional Dates #2
Hi, I am a newb to MatLab and had a rudimentary question. What I am trying to accomplish is plotting various ratios and statistics of a stock, (Ticker = CHK), to analyze price movements through intraday trading. I've imported the file using the importfile command, I've converted the numerical dates (i.e. Aug 18th 2011 = 40772), to conventional dates, and I've also used the xlswrite command to re-import the conventional dates into the spreadsheet. To give you an idea about the codes/commands, here is what I did. importfile('chk.xls'); Date = cDate datestr(cDate, 1); xlswrite('chk.xls', cDate, 'B2:B255'); The data writes into the physical spreadsheet when I open it Outside of MatLab, but when I double click the variable in the workspace (cDate), it shows NaN. I am not sure what I need to do to transfer the conventional dates into Excel so I can do some analysis with price movements and chart it on a graph. Can someone please help me out and tell me what I am doing wrong? ...

Date() returning the incorrect system date (A2010)
Hi, Why is Date returning 1/16/2014 for today (1/21/2014) while Now() is returning the correct date (01/21/2014 4:23:43). I guess I could figure out how to strip just the date from Now, but I am using Date all over the place! My taskbar says the correct date: 01/21/2014. Which I assume is the system date in Windows 7. I had varDate dimmed as a Variant. So I changed to a date (dim datDate as Date). Now - Me.txtFromDate = Date tells me that Date is Null so I get an Invalid use of Null error!! What the heck is going on with Access 2010 all of a sudden? Any ideas? -paulw On 21/01/2014 23:44:00, PW wrote: > Hi, > > Why is Date returning 1/16/2014 for today (1/21/2014) while Now() is > returning the correct date (01/21/2014 4:23:43). Inserting Date/Time into MS Access Database
I'm trying to insert a timestamp into an MS Access Database using the Labview database connectivity toolset. However, I keep getting an error saying that the parameter is in the incorrect format. I'm using the "DB Tools Format DateTime String.vi", and it doesn't seem to be working. Hello, I don't have the answer to your question, but.... How did you get information to be written into MS Access from labview. Thanks. If you are using this function to create the date but using SQL to put the date into the DB, this is probably the cause of your problem, because the VI adds a header to your string which is removed later by the parser. If you want to use this date in an SQL command, you should build it yourself or remove the header. As for roboticstudent, just look at the examples in the example finder to see how to interact with databases. I tried it both ways. I tried using the format date/time into string where it would return "11/7/05 8:22:34 PM", which I then tried to insert in to the DB, but to no avail. I even tried various formats, changing the order of the numbers, etc., but it doesn't seem to work. It would be easiest if you post your code, or at least an image of it. Also, which error exactly are you getting? Is it possible you're trying to enter a string into a numeric field (for example)? If I define a date\time field in Access and then use Insert Data (with the LV format...
