Urgent requirement for Oracle DBA=20 Title : Oracle DBA Location : Reston, VA Duration : Long Term Note: H1 B consultant, Without H1 B Copy Please don=92t submit the resume. Oracle DBA:=20 Job Function: Generally functions in a lead role by providing technical gui= dance and direction to colleagues/clients in area(s) of expertise. Develops= solutions and resolves the most complex issues, as necessary. Uses Knowled= ge of specialty areas and full knowledge of related disciplines. Work is ty= pically performed without direction. Confer with less experienced DBAs and guide their efforts in maintaining da= tabases. Confer with application development staff or project management staff regar= ding project planning, resource allocation, task definitions and schedules = for substantial projects involving database(s). Plan and design database changes necessary for data conversion, tool config= uration, data refresh or migration or other initiatives related to large ap= plication development project. Troubleshoot or confer with others troubleshooting errors or production pro= blems involving databases to determine causes and proposed solutions. Set and document standards for use of databases with objectives of data int= egrity, data security, efficient operation, audit requirements, and the lik= e. Communicate to others in development or database administration roles. Confer with managers in networking, systems operations, applications, and c= lient/user community to maintain stable and efficient operating environment= for database(s). May provide technical lead, project leadership or staff supervision in larg= e development, migration, testing, acceptance or product rollout project.
