CISCO VPN Client/pcAnywhere question

  • Follow

Hello,

I have a question on Cisco VPN client.

I use my home machine, connected through a DSL router. I use the VPN
client to connect to the network at work. I also run pcAnywhere on my
home machine. When the home machine is connected to work using VPN
client, I am unable to pcAnywhere into this machine from outside.

Is there a way around it? I do not want to lose my connectivity
through pcAnywhere.

Any input will be highly appreciated.

Regards.

Not if your vpn administrator has "split-tunneling" disabled or
he/she is pushing a firewall policy to your vpn client.

Either one of these can prevent pc anywhere (or any traffic) to
your vpn connected home computer. Sorry.

Speak to them, maybe they can change something for you.
