Hello,
I have a router at a remote site that's subject to vibration and
suspect that the ethernet cable with RJ45 connector may be
intermittently losing connection. Can someone tell me what best to
look at in the counters...I would suspect an occasional CRC error, but
don't see that, nor do I see anything that looks suspicious when I run
"show interface f0" while viewing the counters. Are there any other
stats I can check that might indicate a loose cable?
Thanks...

I would have to think it would cause interface resets or show up in
the logs as the interface going up/down. None of this occurring?

Hi Trendkill,
Unfortunately none of this is showing...seems really odd. I suppose
the device on the other end of the cable could be faulty somehow. Not
sure what else to look at. Thanks anyway:)
