First of all do you have enough memory available on your router (flash
memory)....?

Where is the error given and what TFTP client are you using? Also are you
doing this over the same LAN segment or are you behind a NAT service?

You are using a crappy TFTP server and the image is larger than 18.4MB.

Use the 3COM TFTP server:

Cisco 7960 tftp size error.
Hi all. I've been trying all day to get my 7960 to upgrade to P0S3-07-5-00 (or P003-07-5-00), but it's not behaving. I have tried both "P0S3-07-5-00" and "P003-07-5-00" in the OS79XX.TXT file. With the latter it doesn't really do anything, with the former the phone reports that there is a "size error on P0S3-07-5-00". Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks, Ben.. ...

When is an error not an error?
The Java language specification claims in: 8.8.7.1 Explicit Constructor Invocations .... "If an anonymous class instance creation expression appears within an explicit constructor invocation statement, then the anonymous class may not refer to any of the enclosing instances of the class whose constructor is being invoked." Helpfully it gives an example: "For example: class Top { int x; class Dummy { Dummy(Object o) {} } class Inside extends Dummy { Inside() { super(new Object() { int r = x; }); // error } Inside(final int y) { super(new Object() { int r = y; }); // correct } } } " Notice the word 'error' in the comment. This example compiles without error and produces the correct code. In what sense is it an 'error'? It is not a compiler error, it is not a runtime error. To quote Douglas Adams "this must be some new meaning of the word 'error' with which I am unfamiliar". Any idea what's gone wrong? Cisco Error GT64010
Hi folks, Hoping to get a idea of what this is from the learned amoung you. The situation came about like this. While tasked to update the IOS of the routers in our shop, (and that this was the first time that I've attempted this), a Cisco 3600 was my first victim. Prior to the update, the IOS was 11.2, which ran with no faults, problems of any kind. I don't have all the specifics, memory etc. But suffice to say that the IOS chosen, (12.3), would've been supported by the routers existing hardware configuration. After doing a successful tftp copy to the flash, the router ...

SQL Errors: Where is the error?
