I'd like to take this font for a test drive on a site before I buy it,
to make sure it's what the client wants - they're not going to pay for
the font if they don't like it, so I'm out the dough! :(

Anyone willing to drop me a copy of LHF Stanford Script to try out?

 No need.
Go to the Letterhead site and select Typetester (tiny type, all the way
at the right in the top menu bar). You can then create any text you want
in any LHF font. Save the resulting image and you have your tryout text.
