Is it possible to edit a TTF file? I need to reduce the character spacing of
a certain font for use in a dynamic text field in macromedia flash? anyone
point me in the direction of a program that will allow me to edit a TTF, if
it is indeed possible?
thanks

Every text layout app I've used lets you set intercharacter spacing
without changing the font itself. Usually this is called "tracking",
possibly "kerning" (though that's usually betwen specific characters).
Ask some knowledgeable Flash people if ther is a way to do that.
Otherwise there are font editors, but they're not trival to use if you
have no experience. One free TTF editor is Softy.

Fontlab is very powerful but not free.
