Iconlandia has/had these (and most other Bitstream) for free download.
Warning: Iconlandia has a lot of pornographic advertising on their
site. Be careful! Also, you might want to scan the zips for viruses. I
downloaded many fonts from there without incident, but, one day, after
downloading a font, my computer picked up a bad trojan/worm from
somewhere.

A downloaded font can't introduce a virus. But visiting a site
(especially warez and porn sites) CAN. So can the act of downloading,
unless you've protected yourself by blocking pop-ups, disabling active
web functions (such as Active-X) and other measures.
I see that you're posting via Google Groups with Firefox. Firefox will
protect you against some of those (like Active-X) but unless you
manage pop-ups, you're still at risk.

Thanks for the clarification, Character. I consider Iconlandia a porn
site--my opinion.
BTW, I'm back to using IE6 at the moment.
I always enjoy your posts and replies, Character. I learn a lot from
you and others on the various groups. I ofter access the fonts groups
with WebTV since Google Groups doesn't do binaries.

That's why you recommended it? ;-)
Buying an older version of Corel Draw for a few $CURRENCY_UNIT
would save anyone the trouble of having to support porn sites.

You got me there, Andreas! I did buy Corel Draw. I was using Iconlandia
when I first started collecting fonts when I was using my old Windows
95 machine that didn't have a cd drive.
Yesterday was the first time I even mentioned it in over a year now. I
suppose I was trying to be helpful.

Or (in this case) buying the Bitstream 500-font CD...

Whatever is cheaper. CorelDraw 7 ships with 1,000 fonts, mostly
Bitstream, in TT and T1 and hardly achieves two-digit prices on=20
EBay any more. But beware of "Special Editions".

I think these 1000 fonts are the same as on the Bitstream 500,
because they count TT and T1 extra IIRC.
/ralph -- quite happy owner of a Corel 5 CD set, but not
for the program ; )

Who does? The "full" OEM version of Corel Draw 7 ships with
1057 fonts in both TT and T1 format. :-P
