Hi- I am trying to create some invitations that look like tickets. Does
anyone know where I can find a ticketmasteresque font? Here is an
example of what I am looking for:

Thanks in advance.

Hello fellow people on this website, i was interested in a font, that was
previously posted. I'm currently opening a club where tickets would be
required. I came across a mr. Anthony Fappiano, who displayed a particular
font that caught my interest. It was posted on May 8, 2007. The name of it
was Ticketmaster Font. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can help
me identify that particular font.

2.4.2 -> 2.5.2 XRC and <font>
Sorry for the barrage of questions... I've gotten everything moved over to 2.5.2, save some XRC based fonts not being brought in correctly. I have several: <font> <size>10</size> <weight>bold</weight> </font> Tags in the XRC (Kids like big fonts), and I just noticed that the EXE was not reflecting the changes. (Still standard) I attempted to do a: wxFont font = GetFont(); font.SetPixelSize(10); font.SetWeight(wxBOLD); SetFont(font); And that too was not reflected in the application. Any thoughts? Thanks, Case...

non-Latin-1 fonts with KDE 2.2.2
Hello, I have a computer running Debian GNU/Linux 3.0r2 which contains KDE 2.2.2. I have installed the normal and transcoded font packages which means, I have the standard fonts available in ISO 10646-1 as well as in several ISO 8859 encodings. Unfortunately, in KCharSelect only the Latin-1 range is displayed correctly; all other areas have only questions marks ("?") shown. Has anybody an idea, what's wrong here? Wolfgang ...

[wx 2.4.0, redhat 7.3, gcc 2.96] Font sample cannot find scalable fonts on custom linux machine Hi, I am trying to use a True Type font in a wxWindows application running on linux. I'm also new to most of the technologies invloved, linux, wxWidgets, and KDrive (a slimmed down XFree86 build). My current application uses the KDrive/TinyX Xvesa Xserver built with XFree86 4.2.0 code. I upgraded to XFree86 4.5.0 because that version of KDrive/TinyX supports client-side scalable fonts. The bitmapped font currently used is either coming from KDrive or the wxWidgets software (...

RE: Font ID please: 2 fonts....
Sorry, It has been a while since I have posted a font for an ID, but I am sure the last time I did it I was able to attach the image directly to the message. Anyway, here's a link to the image: http://i34.tinypic.com/ogymf8.jpg TIA (again)! Chuck Chuck, I don't know the fonts, but I do have a suggestion: post your query in alt.binaries.fonts which has a much greater number of active participants. Also, since it has the word "binaries" in its name, you can safely use an attachment if you so wish. Chuck Sowers wrote: > Sorry, It has been a while since I have po...

Font Book 2.0 says all fonts corrupt
I installed Tiger a couple of weeks ago. Eventually after doing a bunc of other setup, I noticed that only a few fonts were available to apps even to the Finder, though I'd installed not only the default ones bu the extra font package. Looking in the main Fonts folde (/system/library/fonts) there were 103 fonts, soI tried to install som of them via Font Book, but all fail with "Serious problems were found Do not use this font." Then when I used the Font Book validatio feature to check the ones already installed, they all failed at th same level. In all cases, the offending or fa...

Mathematica 4.2 fonts in MikTeX 2.4
Has anyone had complete success installing the Mathmatica 4.2 fonts from Jens-Peer Kuska's page (http://phong.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/~kuska)? A previous post from May 2004 led me to believe that archive would have everything necessary. So far I've managed a 95% working distribution. The mathmono, in regular and bold weight, have all the characters; script, double- struck, and gothic characters also appear complete. The normal math, in bold and regular weight, appear to lack \varrho, \mathi, and nearly all the ``additional'' characters listed in the documentation that came...

Font sizes and margins changed in v8.2.2?
Hello, The question mark in the subject line is there because the behaviour I am seeing may be due to changes in my computer (upgrade from RHE5 to RHE6). I have a multiple-plot-per-window plot command that looks like: index++ pdi = PLOT( $ sensor_channel, y, $ LAYOUT = [ n_col, n_row, index ], $ CURRENT = owin ) which gave me the output I wanted - a nice looking grid of n_col x n_row plots: http://ftp.emc.ncep.noaa.gov/jcsda/CRTM/.plots/old.png However, since I got v8.2.2 installed, the same code produced the following output: http://ft...

[wxMSW 2.5.2] Font size issue

What is this Font? #2
It is used a lot in University papers, and many papers available as PDFs use this typeface. You can see it in this PDF, for example: http://www.econ.brown.edu/fac/H_Polemarchakis/nwe.pdf At first I thought it was Times, then I thought it was Garamond. It seems it was neither of them. Can anyone shed a light on what font is being used here? I heard they use some program called Latex for making this type of papers, but I never heard what font they use.
