you are NOT moving cursor using GLUT. However, you can respond to cursor
movement using glut callbacks "glutMotionFunc", and
have a look at chapter 7, Callback registration

I'm new to Macland, and am enjoying my powerbook very much

Here's my little question:
When I scroll in a Firefox or Safari window *using the arrow keys*,
OS X hides the mouse cursor.
(This happens on any keypress in TextEdit too.)
Then I have to move the mouse a little bit to force the system to

Mouse cursor or console cursor? For the mouse cursor there should be an API
to control (X), for console cursor there should be control sequences to
hide or show it (take a look into the ncurses library).

?????...Hide Mouse Cursor on TPC-2006 Windows CE
Hello all, I have a VI that is deployed on NI's TPC-2006 touch panel, running Windows CE 4.2 and was wondering if there is a way to hide the mouse cursor from the screen? When running a touch screen VI on the touch panel, it looks pretty tacky to have the mouse pointer show up when clicking buttons or tabs. I have done quite a bit of searching, but have yet to find a way to do it, in or out of Labview. Any ideas / suggestions? Thanks for any responses.- Adam

I found this to be very odd. It seems that KDE doesn't automatically hide

I always thought that it was due to some problem with my KDE configuration.
Today, after I've decided to finally take the bull by the horns and search
for the place where I could configure it, I found this:
It seems that KDE doesn't support it at all. Moreover, it seems that the

There is a palette of cursor manipulation (Application Control ->
Cursor or just do a palette search for "Cursor"). These VIs let you
set the cursors, but I don't see an easy way to turn it off. A
work-around might be to have a blank cursor in a cursor file and
change the cursor to that. It will still have a click response (hot
spot), so it does not keep the user from using the cursor, just seeing

Send the appropriate escape sequence to your VT100.
A Google search should provide a list of the escape sequences.
If your hardware environment is other than a VT100 at the end of a
serial line, you might specify it in whatever operating system or
hardware newsgroup is appropriate.

Two reasons would be when you need to do something for each row in a
result set (usually execute a stored procedure), or when you must
process rows in a specific order.
The first case is probably most common in DBA/admin scripts, for
example to write a script which GRANTs execute permission on all stored
procs in a database. I can't think of a good example of the s...cursor hiding

If you want to change the mouse theme systemwide, you will need to create a
file named index.theme
--- index.theme ---

The path to the location may differ between distros, so the best is to look up
in the distros documentation over Xorg.
