ProSavage DDR & Opengl 1.4
Hi,
am using ProSavage DDR integrated card with VIA chipset on a MSI V
motherboard. Discovered it only has 1.1 opengl. went on to download
the latest driver from s3 website. installed it. and then it turns out
it is only 1.1 opengl also.
Any advise on getting 1.4 opengl? thanks

For such an old graphics card? Forget it...

OpenGL 1.4 won't be supported in hardware on that card, AFAIK. You can check
out mesa if a software implimentation is fast enough for you, or you can just
buy one of the new graphics cards. www.mesa.org

You won't get OpenGL 1.4 hardware accelerated on this card.
The linux driver supports 1.2 or 1.3.
