It DOES sound like something like that!
And I too am a fan, like probably most people who have seen W & G :)
And I have all of them, BTW :)
Also, they are already working on the next W & G movie.
They kinda have to hurry on these things, because the voice for Wallace, 
he's like 82 years old.
So, I would think, if they have any other move plans, that they would 
need to get him to
make allll the voices done now and worry about getting the movies made 
years later.
