Question - Printing 2-up on 11x17

This is probably a simple-minded question, but for the life of me I can't
figure out how to print two 8-1/2 x 11 pages 2-up on a 11 x 17 sheet. I've
looked thru all the options in the print menu and can't figure it out.

I'm using Pagemaker 7.0 and a Cannon BJC-5100 that takes 11x17. Also tried it
using Acrobat 5.0. I doubt that the application is the problem, though.

To be sure I'm getting my question across, here's a poor-man's illustration
shoing how I want it to come out:

     <------ 17" -------->
----------------------------------------
| | | | ^
| | | | |
| Page 1 | | Page 2 | 11"
| 8.5x11 | | 8.5x 11 | |
| | | | v
----------------------------------------

Thanks!
Fred

Well, since this follows neatly on Marek's question, I guess I'll tackle
this one, too, although I'm supposed to be heading out to Home Depot at
the moment.

This is a work-and-turn (see response to Marek). You're going to print
page 1 on the left and page 2 on the right; then you are going to turn
the sheets over left-to-right and print them again, putting page 2 on
the back of page 1 and page 1 on the back of page 2. Correct? That's
what your sketch says.

The easy way is to open a new publication that is 11 x 17. Set up the
page with the same margins as your original 8 1/2 x 11 pages. Create two
columns with a ditch that is equal to twice your side margin. Turn on
Snap to Guides. Select All on page 1 of your original document. Copy,
then paste into the left page margins of the new document. Repeat with
page 2. Print. Take two aspirin. Call me in the morning.
