Hi All,
Could you pls help me how to resize image to particular proportion to
load images faster on a web page.
The images to be resized should be taken from a folder in the server
and displays in a web page
Regards

This is a forum for Paint Shop Pro, not for web pages. PSP doesn't use
javascript. However, it can resize images easily, and can use a python
script to do batch resizing if you want all the images resized to the same
size. Do you want to have PSP resize your images to a certain size before
you upload them to your website?

You can set width and height in html code but if the image is bigger than
that it will still take as long to load as it would at its full size. Save
the images at the size required for your web page more then one size if
needed adding say th for thumbnails to the file name

Do you use thumbnails? An example or the actual page(s) would help too. The
nice thing about using PSP & others is that you can resize but also adjust
compression amount. I found that 15% is good if you still want a quality
picture. After that it starts to really deteriorate. quickly.
