Sit is StuffIt and can be opened with Aladdin Stuffit Expander, which is
very good. Better than Winzip IMHO.

I wouldn't touch this guy's messages with a ten foot pole however...

Thanks much for posting the 3 AVI tutorials.

They do not decode normally. Using Agent on one of the postings,
I had to

1. First join the sections
2. Download the joined section
3. Save this download by using File -> Save - > messages.
4. Decode this Uuencoded file with a utility like Uuencode
5. Finally extract the AVI file from the SIT archive using Alladin
extractor.

(I presume you are a Mac user, whereas I am on a Windows platform)

Anyway great tutorials and I certainly would like more.

However, this may not be a suitable forum since I gather they
don't like binaries. If you have more please post, maybe
better in somthing link alt.binaries.multimedia.utilities.

Personally its ok with me to post here.

Again thanks,

Pete

Not a good idea to post binaries here, modem users get pissed off.
