Paste face of someone onto another person

Hi all,

for an upcoming marriage next week, we'd like to make fun of the bridegroom.
We'd like to show some fake pictures of him, showing him staring in some
movies. Therefore we'd like to take his face from a picture of him, and then
paste it onto some other movie star.

Is there any software application which can easily fulfill this task,
without much effort? In an ideal case, the software would be able to adapt
automatically to the background of the new picture. For example if the
background is kept in white and black, the pasted face should also be shown
in black and white, etc.

Thanks for any hints!
Herbert

Thermal paste
Sorry for little offtopic, but couldn't find any more general hardware discussion list for my question. The thing is I have fair cooler with radiator ( brand Artic) attached to the Sempron processor. When it came out of the box ( cooler ) it had been covered with little layer of thermal paste. Now, I swithched the cpu model , which made the layer a little scratched. The question is : is there any sense of addying a new layer of thermal paste on the cpu's kernel ( or whole cpu) with / without taking off the layer from the cooler ? I mean can I have two layers of thermal ...

Re: Past n days average price #10
I would suggest an N-element array populated with the last n values. Well, from your example it looks like you want the average of the next n values, not the last n variables. This will require a resort. %let n = 3 ; Data foo ; Input day price ; Cards4 ; 1 10 2 12 3 11 4 14 5 16 6 17 ;;;; Proc sort data=foo ; By descending day ; Run ; Data new ; Set foo ; Array s[0:%eval(&n-1)] ; Retain s: ; Drop s: ; s[mod(day,&n)] = price ; c = n( of s[*] ) ; If ( n( of s[*] ) ge 3 ) then average = mean( of...

New Orleans Suspends Re-Opening; Waits for Another Hurricane
By MICHAEL RUBINKAM, Associated Press Writer Under pressure from President Bush and other top federal officials, the mayor suspended the reopening of large portions of the city Monday and instead ordered nearly everyone out because of the risk of a new round of flooding from a tropical storm on the way. "If we are off, I'd rather err on the side of conservatism to make sure we have everyone out," Mayor Ray Nagin said. The announcement came after repeated warnings from top federal officials -- and the president himself -- that New Orleans was not safe enough to reo...

Yet Another CHS to LBA Conversion questions?
I found the below code in another post and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work. Lets say i'm running on an XP SP2 machine, how can i find hpc and spt? Jim, You'll love the first line of this question to the FM user group. . I am the sole person of a small a/c repair business. For the longest time I have been using Q&A a 'dos' flat file database program. I am trying to update and now have Filemaker Pro 8 Advanced and using it on a pc with winxp sp2. Writing Text Into Another App's Window
Is it possible to write text onto another applications client window? If so, does it require more than a TextOut in the appropriate location? Thanks for any thoughts or a short example, cpp cppaddict wrote: > Is it possible to write text onto another applications client window? > > If so, does it require more than a TextOut in the appropriate > location? Another battery pb
The battery of an A4000 T from escom (you know, this Lithium-ion battery from Rayonac) was dead (tested with multimeter). I desoldered it (why it was soldered is a mistery for me). Where does Paste Paste?
In building a new layout one often needs to copy or cut a field or a text box and paste it somewhere else. Is there any logic as to where the pasted item will appear? New comer's simple question: how to paste a picture created in MS word to GIMP?

lost+found: detritus of past disk problems?
I have a bunch of files in a folder called "lost+found" on my root directory. Inspecting them I find files of type ".string" which contain what look like excel menu lists and the like, and other files that seem to be support files for a variety of apps. From the name of the folder I infer that the OS has packed these here not knowing what to do with them (after checking the disk, perhaps?). The dates of almost all the folders coincides with when my HD started going haywire. Now my system is stable, broken apps re-installed, data recovered from the TM,...

Activate (focus to) another application/process
Hello all, How do I switch to an already running program, as if its started by double-clicking it ? I thought it would be easy to, when you have a window-handle belonging to another process (think FindWindow), switch over to that program. Alas, it isn't (nonwithstanding the existance of functions like SetFocus, SetForegroundWindow, SetWindowPos, SwitchToThisWindow, and possibly a few more). I found a very promissing solution (attach to other thread, SetForegroundWindow, SetFocus, detach from thread), but it fails miserably when the program that executes that code isn'...
