Change Control Integration With Notes?

  • Follow

Does any vendor sell a true source control system that interfaces to Lotus
Notes, such that a given version of a Notes document can be checked into
source control? I want to find a system that is *external to Notes* that
can keep versions of different Notes documents.

This was a tool to manage Notes clients remotely. That has nothing to do
with *document-level* change control *within a Notes database*.

Can you give more details on your requirements? Would it be sufficient
if a user can check in a document form Lotus Notes to a source control
system? If yes, then that could be done with a Lotus Notes menu plugin
and an integration to CVS or SVN (subversion). Those tools are even
capable of diffing files - depending on the format, of course. If that
is what you are looking for, get back to me directly and we can discuss
your requirements.
