Split Nsf File
Hello,
I recently investigated some of my users Archive files.
And lot of them have very large files, more than 6Gb...
We would like to split those archives by year or semester.
Actually, I just create mail database on local and cut and paste
documents between them.
I think, I could create a simple script to do so, but still it takes
so much time.
So, I would like to know if you know a fast tool to split nsf file.

Hi,
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with such a tool. Never heard of something
similar either.
I have to face the same problem whenever I do the same thing. Cut and paste
takes hours, but it's the only solution I've found.

I don't know if you are still looking into this or not. We looked into
doing similar file splitting at our site, but mostly on a compliance
basis and Hipaa investigations. One product we looked seriously and
are looking to deploy is Compliance Attender from Sherpa Software. It
and their Mail Attender product may fit your needs. It has worked for
us.
They do offer uncrippled trial software.
Good Luck

Hi all
Why not creating an archive from an archive?
I've done this with my notes file at work.
active mail.nsf => archiving all documents older than 90 day to archive
ar_mail.nsf
That's what you shurly have already done.
Now do the same within your archive using another criteriy then in your
mail.nsf.
I set all documents older then 365 days to archive into ar_ar_mail.nsf.
