Probably uses the same approach of the PCS flourescent switches - a triac
as a switch.  But one problem... my LampLincs have very poor sensitivity.
Other than that, great modules, but incredibly deaf compared to even
ancient Magnovox modules.  The ApplianceLinc almost certainly uses mostly
the same circuitry and hardware.

Triacs don't click and not all relays sound the same.

The web page at smarthome says this...
