Time sequencing power strip

  • Follow

I am looking for a source for a power strip/surge protector, perhaps UPS,
that will sequence at least some of the outlets. I recently went broad band,
and have found that their instructions to turn on the modem, router, and
computer in sequence is the only way to ensure a successful connection.

Thanks

This is a bit pricey but will do what you want.

Smarthome used to have one but it's discontinued. You might try their
customer service to see who made it - maybe they are still in business.

I found the same.

Most people find that leaving the modem and router powered up all the time
works. Just switch the computer on/off.
