Skills:       Provide own vehicle for off-road use
              Must have a knowledge of general earthwork and grading
              specifications
              Must know geologic formations in the area
              Must know basic soil engineering
              5-7 yrs of active field experience in earthwork and grading
              Strong organization and written/oral communication skills


Scope:        Manage multiple grading projects. Train other soil technicians.
              Maintain and organize field records, maps and data. Perform site
              investigation, observation and testing. Identify soils and have a
              knowledge of general earthwork and grading specifications.
              Prepare field dailies, memos, reports and proposals. Draw cross-
              sections from plans or field mapping. Interface effectively with
              project managers, technicians, contractors and clients.
