Skills:       Exp in real-time embedded system software design and
              development.
              Strong understanding of SW/HW interaction with real-time OS,
              multithreading and event driven architectures.
              Good working knowledge of DVD and MPEG technologies and
              standards.
              Prior development experiences with GUI frameworks or UI
              toolkits. (ex. JFC, MFC, ZINC, MicroWindows).
              Good embedded system debugging skills, able to identify root
              causes for complex system issues.
              The ideal candidate should have design and development
              experiences in at least one of the following product areas:
              -DVD Player/Recorder
              -Digital Set-Top Box
              -PVR systems


Scope:        Design and develop system modules for DVD-VR/DVD+VR
              recording platforms. Design and implement DVD Authoring and
              Editing Applications. Debug and resolve complex complex
              real-time system issues in an embedded environment.
