General Dynamics Information Technology has an immediate opening for a Senior Programming and Policy Analyst to support the policy, programming and budgeting functions of the Air Force Culture and Language program. This individual will provide support for the Air Force Culture and Language Program Offices duties of programming and policy analysis, event support, and program management. In addition, the candidate shall research, analyze, and develop reports in support of Air Force Region and Language planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE). Work will be performed at the Pentagon or other DoD facilities within the Air Force District of Washington. Candidate shall, in collaboration with program managers, identify requirements, initiate requests for resources, identify needs for priority changes, evaluate accomplishments, develop metrics, and implement staff actions. Candidates will research, analyze, and report on DoD and Air Force organizational structures to determine the optimal solutions of Air Force organization of culture, region, and language capabilities. They will research, analyze and report on culture, region, and language PPBE within commissioning programs to determine optimal and best-practices for the development of culture, region, and language capability in Air Force Officers to match and meet National, Department, Joint, and Air Force Strategies. Candidate will conduct detailed personnel, requirements, and budgeting analysis which includes analysis of personnel requirements in MilPDS, MPES, DMDC, and financial data listed in DFAS. The candidate will research, analyze, and report on culture, region, and language PPBE for the total force officer, enlisted, and civilians to determine optimal and best-practices for the development of culture, region, and language capability to match and meet National, Department, Joint, and Air Force Strategies. ? Bachelors Degree in Cultural Studies, Human Resource Management, Education or related disciplines required. Masters degree is a plus. ? Completion of senior service school desired.

? Extensive geographic regional expertise and knowledge of Air Force needs for deployment education and training. ? Extensive knowledge of DoD and Air Force foreign language education and training techniques, systems and programs. ? Extensive knowledge of the Air Force ROTC, Officer Training School, The United States Air Force Academy, and other DoD commissioning programs. ? Knowledge of Air Force Special Operations Forces and Foreign Internal Defense Support programs. ? Experience with writing and coordinating DoD policies and instructions critical. ? Prior learning or usage of an Air Force defined strategic language and knowledge of Air Force language requirements. ? Knowledge of Air Force Foreign Area Officer Program is a plus. ? Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Visio). Expert knowledge of Excel and Access necessary. Applicant must possess valid Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
