We have an immediate opening for a Database Support Engineer. As a member of our Client Care team, you will help our customers solve a wide range of general, installation, application and technical problems. In addition, you will monitor and pro-actively assist our customers on a day-to-day basis to detect and adjust their systems before failures happen. To be considered, you must demonstrate a unique combination of customer service, communication and technical abilities. 



As an ideal candidate, you currently have a solid understanding and hands on experience, installing, configuring, monitoring and managing Oracle databases. Backup and restoration operations are something you don�t think twice about. Other skills you currently know are: the Windows operating system, networking (both TCP/IP and SQL Net) and installation and configuration of client-side applications in a 2-tier client-server architecture. Although not required, you have some experience in MS SQL Server, 4th Dimension, C++ and/or Delphi. Being an OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) is a definite plus. 



You also have superior communication & problem-solving skills, a positive phone presence, and unwavering commitment to customer service, which are all essential. Your strong technical aptitude together with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities is also a must in this fast-paced environment. Rotation in on-call 'off peak' hours and some light travel may be required.
