              Minimum Qualifications
              5 years design experience in mixed-signal integrated circuit
              design
              Strong emphasis on analog design

              Experience in one or more of the following:
              Analog Circuit Design
              A/D Converters
              D/A Converter
              Switch-cap filters
              PLL's
              Clock recovery circuits
              Equalizers
              LNA & mixers

              DSP Algorithms
              Interpolation
              Decimation
              Echo cancellers
              Modulation schemes


Scope:        Products include fractional-N PLLs at very high speeds
              (10GHz), transceivers (10GHz). Circuit blocks include VCO's,
              delta-sigma ADC and DACs, voltage references, output
              drivers, digital filters, high speed phase detectors,
              crystal oscillators, and other support circuitry.

              The candidate should have multiple patents (mostly pending
              for a 5 year��s experience) and probably will have
              publications in ISCC or Journal of Solid-State Circuits. The
              publications may have also occurred in the graduate
              program.  Individual should have breadth as well as deep
              analytical capability.

              Mixed-signal integrated circuit design engineer. Design
              activities will include both analog and digital circuit
              design for data conversion and communications applications.

              Integrated circuit design and debug
              Assist in product definition and test program development
              Key technical interface through production ramp
