Skills:       Requires a MS/PhD preferred in Electrical Engineering and
              general knowledge of analog integrated circuit design with
              specific emphasis on high speed amplifiers and D/A or A/D
              converters.
              Skills in switched capacitor circuit design at block and
              sub-circuit levels. Some DSP background.
              Basic logic design.
              Use of general integrated circuit design tools including
              schematic capture, transistor level simulation, Verilog, LVS
              and DRC.
              Requires some level of experience in assisting with test
              program development, proven chip level floorplanning skills,
              as well as a strong team oriented approach to problem
              solving.


Scope:        Perform transistor level circuit design, logic design,
              behavioral model coding, simulation of the IC design from
              transistor to system level, and overall layout direction for
              the analog subsections of a chip. Primary responsibilities
              include the design of CMOS analog blocks to be used in
              high-speed analog signal processing as well as
              analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion
              sub-systems for audio and data acquisition applications.
              This includes chip level architecture development,
              sub-circuit partitioning, silicon characterization and
              debug, and technical leadership of the chip verification
              effort.
