Skills:       Proficient in Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, HTML, XML, and Struts
              technologies.
              Proficient in one or more of the following application servers
              and databases: WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, SQL
              Server, DB2, Oracle, PostgresQL.
              Knowledge of and practical experience with the Rational Unified
              Process (RUP) or other iterative development methodologies.
              BS degree in Computer Science.
              Certified as a Sun Java Programmer.
              2yrs of software development experience.
              1yr of UML experience combined with OOA/OOD experience.
              Knowledge of Rational Unified Process (RUP) or other iterative
              development methodologies.
              Comfortable working under design and coding standards.
              Experience writing reports with any of the following: Crystal
              Reports, Cognos, Actuate, Business Objects, and Brio Query
              (preferred).
              Experience with open source report writing software (preferred).


Scope:        Use a UML modeling tool to analyze and model complex subsystems.
              Apply Java and J2EE Design Patterns in the design and
              implementation of a subsystem. Implement the business-tier and
              presentation-tier using Java, EJB (Session Bean, Entity Bean,
              Message Driven Beans), Struts, Servlets, JSP/Taglibs, JDBC/SQL,
              JMS, JNDI, XML, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. Utilize Java open
              source tools such as Eclipse, Ant, JBuilder, JUnit, Log4j, IDE,
              developer unit testing to provide quality software builds.
              Participate in pre-delivery efforts in terms of working with
              users during meetings/presentations, assisting with time
              estimates, and providing status reports to the lead developer.
              Design and create server-based production reports.
