              Board design experience with mixed-signal and RF components

              Working knowledge of OrCAD or equivalent EDA tool.


Scope:        Primary activities include performing characterization and
              validation testing for component-level RF products. The RF
              characterization/validation engineer will be responsible
              for; developing and implementing characterization and
              validation testing for standard and custom RF IC products;
              performing tests and reporting results for characterization
              and validation tests; and working with product/test, design
              and applications engineering on data analysis and
              correlation. Duties will also include performing device
              analysis, assisting with failure analysis, designing test
              boards and low-level programming.

              Responsibilities
              Select and integrate test instrumentation in laboratory test
              systems. Write characterization and validation tests for
              laboratory test systems. Perform characterization and
              validation tests for RF devices over various conditions.
              Analyze and report test results in a standard format.
