Location: Austin TX
Skills: BSEE and 5+ years experience
Experience porting IC Hardware description languages
(Verilog, VHDL) to FPGA.
Experience with FPGA board design and validation.
Required software skills: C++, Assembly language, knowledge
Ability to debug hardware issues using debuggers,
oscilloscopes, in-circuit emulators, etc.
Experience with mixed signal IC's and mixed signal board
design and debug. Experience with signal demodulation
Scope: Applications/Systems engineer responsible for full
development of FPGA solution used to validate mixed-signal
audio codec design. System-level board design, including
schematic entry and management of contract PCB layout/fab
FPGA test vector generation, programming, and
test/verification. System-level board debug and validation:
hands-on lab evaluation, reporting results to engineering
teams. Mixed-signal audio codec IC validation and debug.
Develop technical documentation (reference design
schematics, product design guides, app. notes, etc.
