Description: *Qualified candidates must have a current and active TS/SCI to be considered for this position.*                                 Northrop Grumman IG/TASC seeks an experienced network monitor familiar with current Intelligence Community issues to support a strategic national intelligence customer organization with a highly visible mission data monitoring providing troubleshooting steps and oversight of the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Intelligence Watch/Operations Center and must be willing to support a rotating 24/7 schedule. Provides monitoring services for managed networks and accredited systems. Provides operation of persistent monitoring, on a 24x7 basis, of all designated networks and systems. Provides monitoring and support as directed in provisioned Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), for all deployed systems and services. Provides troubleshooting processes as required.                  You will work on tasking, processing, exploitation and dissemination, including  Integration issues in Intelligence Community missions. Works the processes to obtain timely information and notification of significant events and analysis from multiple SATCOM and SIGINT systems. Works processes and procedures to obtain and notify the leadership of critical and significant events. Manages and executes first level response and address to reported or detected incidents in accordance with SOP and directives. The successful candidate for this position will have the ability to work independently, be creative and resourceful, and be willing to take the initiative in exploring and implementing new methods of collection availability. Provides input to incident tracking database, trouble ticket systems, discrepancy reporting database and other directed internal repositories as directed in SOP. The following are the Basic for this position: Position requires applicants to hold a current active TS/SCI clearance to be considered. Candidates should hold a Bachelor Degree. Additional work experience within the Intelligence Community/Information Technology field maybe substituted for the degree requirement. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in Operations. Candidate must have 2 years experience utilizing technology to support operations (MS Windows, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, COTS).
