Hays has a short term 90 day contract with one of it government clients in Ottawa for a Senior IT Engineer who has previous experience with Government networks.

 

You will possess excellent knowledge of government IT services and be able to articulate that experience to deliver departmental objectives.  A sound knowledge of security policy such as: MITS and IT security best practices or a CSSP would be preferred
You will have extensive and recent experience in:

 

The design and architecture of data networks, experience providing technical advice on the design and architecture of VMware infrastructure and extensive experience reviewing technical proposals and documentation.
 

You will have a telecommunications background of over 10 years using Cisco routing and switching as well as TCP/IP and other networking protocol data in Windows, Novell or Lotus Notes environments.
 

You will have recent and extensive experience with MPLS over IP and GRE tunnel configurations.
