This position is consulting at the highest technical level with clients, staff and management on design, planning, integration, implementation and problem definition/resolution of complex enterprise-wide network/systems (e.g., telecommunications, operating systems, LAN's, WAN's, distributed processing and client server configurations). Plan and coordinate the installation of new or modified LAN's/WAN's. Analyze complex network problems or malfunctions and initiate and coordinate resolutions. Responsible for providing technical guidance to staff in the development, maintenance and the integration of corporate and business network architectures. Research and monitor technological trends and directions, and analyze the organizational use of network technology to identify technological opportunities to support organizational goals and objectives. Act as the designer for major voice and/or data telecommunication systems and their subsystems utilizing a strong understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs.

Take a leadership role in producing and analyzing both data center and facility solutions. Requires the ability to coordinate the successful implementation of the product by managing the completion of tasks and guide others in the group by communicating and delivering concise requirements. Manage the project scope, gather business requirements, ensure quality control is in place throughout the project and participate in developing the project plan for management approval, then execute the project plan while reporting on progress, milestones and issues.

Additional tasks include monitoring/controlling expenses. Developing and maintaining project plans. Providing project status reports. Coordinating project tasks design, testing, implementation and support efforts. Develop and implement team standards and procedures. Oral and written communications skills needed. Must be able to give a formal presentation. Candidates need problem solving, teamwork, partnering, negotiating and initiative skills.

Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; CCNP Certification; CCIE Certification preferred.
