Printer Ink - Pictures and Diagrams of Printer Ink, Printer Ink Cartridge, and Printer Ink Refill - Hi, I am working on a new Website, www.Printer-Ink.biz, for information on Printer Ink, Printer Ink Cartridge, and Printer Ink Refill. I already have some information about Printer Ink on the website - www.Printer-Ink.biz; what I am looking for is pictures and diagrams of how printer ink, printer ink cartridge and printer ink refill work for the www.Printer-ink.biz website. Specifically, I am looking for good pictures of printer ink, printer ink cartridge, or printer refill in action, maybe in a ink jet printer or laser printer - however, diagrams of how printer ink, printer ink cartridge, or printer ink refill work in a laser printer, ink jet printer, or even dot matrix printer might be interesting as well. Please only send your own images - with your pictures, please include permission to post them on www.Printer-Ink.biz . Images to pics@Printer-Ink.biz . Non-US store that will ship a Canon printer to US?
I'm miffed that in the US the new Canon printers won't print on CDs, whereas the same printers sold outside the US will do this. I've tried to locate non-US stores using Google and Froogle, but that doesn't work. Way, way, way too many hits. Can any non-US participant in this newsgroup suggest a web/mail order store that will ship a printer to the US? Have any US readers in this newsgroup successfully imported a Canon printer? Did you have any problems with customs about the Canon trademark? (question based on personal experience buying Nikon cameras from Hong Kong in the late 60s.) Or, can I simply order a spare part that will enable me to print onto CDs, using a USA version of the printer? Thanks in advance "Lady Margeret Thatcher" <not@home.com> wrote in message news:kb5e011bafa4vlmuq3uq7pu7u1jqg971r7@4ax.com... > I'm miffed that in the US the new Canon printers won't print on CDs, > whereas the same printers sold outside the US will do this. > > I've tried to locate non-US stores using Google and Froogle, but that > doesn't work. If you're talking about printing from the browser, that is handled by the browser itself, possibly with a client-side script such as javascript. Solid Ink Printers #2
It's come to my attention that there are now printers being made that use solid ink "sticks." http://www.rbsmontana.com/extra1.shtml These are touted as "green" printers. Has anyone had experience with these printers? Do they have any promise of equaling the quality of inkjet printers? Is this the future of printers? Any comments, ideas, etc.? Brother Printer Ink Cartridge Nearly Empty --- After Only 2 Weeks!!!
I have a Gateway computer with the following: 1) a 1400-MHz Pentium 4 processor, 2) 256 MB of RAM, and 3) 40 GB of hard-drive space. The computer is running Windows Millennium Edition (ME). Two and a half weeks ago, I bought a Brother MFC-240C printer. This is a multifunction device: printer, copier, fax, and scanner. ---------- When I installed the ink cartridges, the machine cleaned the ink tube system. Then I pressed "Color Start" to test the four colors corresponding to the cartridges (black, yellow, cyan, and magenta). The machine printed out the Print Quality...

2 * 2 * 2 * 2 or pow(2, 4)?
Hi , I hope this isn't too trivial to ask, but I'm evaluating a polynomial that involve lots of terms like x^2y^2z^3, and although I can use the power function pow(a, b), I wonder if just writing x*x*y*y*z*z*z for example wouldn't be more efficient than pow(x, 2)*pow(y, 2)*pow(z,3). Or is it all the same? Thanks, - Olumide Olumide wrote: > I hope this isn't too trivial to ask, but I'm evaluating a polynomial > that involve lots of terms like x^2y^2z^3, and although I can use the > power function pow(a, b), I wonder if just writing x*x*y*y*z*z*z for > exam...

linspace(2,2,2) returns [2 2] ??
May be the help for linspace should change? It says: "LINSPACE(X1, X2, N) generates N points between X1 and X2." Notice, it says BETWEEN. But when I ask for 2 points, between 2 and 2: ---------------- EDU>> linspace(2,2,2) ans = 2 2 --------------- May be mathematically this is ok? i.e. there are infinite points between the point and itself? (on the real line), but from programming point of view, it is confusing. no? --Nasser Maybe it should say "generates N points between X1 and X2, inclusive." What did you expect to get back as an answer from issuing linspace(2,2,2)? I didn't understand your statement "there are infinite points between the point and itself?" How do you have an infinite number of points between 2 and 2? I can see an infinite number of points between 2 and something that's not itself, like 2.00000000000000001, but if they are absolutely perfectly identical how are you getting an infinite number of points? Bulk Pigment Ink for a Dye Ink Printer
I'm thinking of getting into the Niagara system of bulk ink through Media Street. My printer is an Epson R320 which uses dye inks. With that system, I can use their pigment type inks which is called Generations G-Chrome. Cost to start with the Niagara system is $269 American. The ink is $116.10 and comes in 4 ounce bottles. Digital Camera magazine (October 2005) has a favorable preview with this system using printers made for dye inks. I have several questions and maybe some here can help. 1. With this ink, what can I expect from an occasional text print from MS Word? As sharp as those made using dye inks? 2. How about cost savings? They advertise 90% savings going to this bulk ink. Is anyone getting this kind of savings? I print mostly photos, maybe six to a dozen a week. 3. I print an occasional B+W text slide using transparency film, for church that I made in Corel Draw. Would the print be as stable as those I currently print with my R320 using the OEM dye inks? I would get the Generations ink with the black ink made for glossy media. Thanks and any help would be appreciated. Kayaker > 1. With this ink, what can I expect from an occasional text print from > MS Word? As sharp as those made using dye inks? > 2. Re: 2 way printer communication #2
Thanks, I will get out my Gold & see if I can find the manual to set it for device 4. You are right, a few programmes use a drive memory as a storage device. I have somewhere a printer spooler programme that allows the computer to be disconnected from the system once the text is sent to the drive. I think there is a disk copy programme that also uses drive memory storage. I'm not sure why a printer buffer (& interface buffer) can't be accessed for data storage, since I am not a programmer. Disappearing printer under MacOS 9.2.2
I'm new to the Mac environment, and posting this on behalf of a friend who has been a Mac user for some time, but he is definately not a techie, and doesn't want to have to get too involved. He has an ancient Compaq Pagemarq 20 connected to a Mac with OS 9.2.2 via AppleTalk/Ethernet. All was well until last week, when printing stopped working completely. Attempts to print result in "... the printer cannot be found..." messages. In the Chooser, selecting LaserWriter on the left leaves the list on the right completely empty. That can't be right... We have downloaded the PDD from Adobe's web site for this printer, and installed into the System. Expanding System down to the printer list shows this printer, among many others, appears to be present and accounted for. I'm trying to help him get back to being able to print, but being new to this myself I'm really not sure what I should be looking for. The printer itself functions and is able to self-print a test page. All cabling appears to be intact, and the entire works has been shut down, powered off, and on at least a couple of times. Any advice, please? Thanks very much, Ken In article <vsv7cr71dup7c2@corp.supernews.com>, "Ken Salmon" <kensa@charter.net> wrote: > I'm new to the Mac environment, and posting this on behalf of a friend who > has been a Mac user for some time, but he is definately not a techie, and > ...
