Another ranking of programming languages via www.stackoverflow.com

Fortran is near the middle, surprising.  I would have thought
fortran to be much lower is popularity.

I think the only obvious result of the study is that "Stack Overflow"
and "Github" have a 0.78 corelation on opinions of popularity measured
in reported projects. I don't think is says much of value for the
usefulness of the languages themselves.

Note that Fortran and Occam almost share the save point, with
smalltalk a little lower.
The Occum language was designed for multiple-connected cpus and is
essentially Fortran with signals and messaging (I used Occam decades
ago with Transputers when they first came out); but NOT the kind of
target found in the average home or office.
