I think Santhosh Kumar has proven anything is possible with Swing

One thing I really like about Eclipse is having tabs on a page and
then minimize, maximize, and toolbar menu on the same level as the
tabs - to the far right.

It saves space and looks damn good.

I would like to replicate that in Swing but obviously without writing
a ton of crazy 2d code with mouse over events.

Any ideas how one could go about that?
