Get ip adress of visitor and display on webpage...

Hello guys, need some help here,
i am working on a school project and i have to get the visitors ip on a 
webpage... althought i know how to do it in php, asp, i CANT use these 
languages, it has to be in JAVA... I got no idea, how.,. Can you help me 
out?

Maybe try a JAVA newsgroup?

The method is going to depend on the server-side container.  Are you 
using tomcat, jboss, or what?  As the server, that is.  I doubt you 
wrote an entire web server in java...

He tried and failed, cluelessly crossposting to comp.lang.javascript, the
dead comp.lang.java.javascript, and comp.lang.java which is now a newsgroup
hierarchy, not a newsgroup.  (Google Groups is a newsgroup *archive*, and if
you still see the latter two newsgroups on your news server, you should
notify its admin or try a better-maintained server instead.)

Java != JavaScript

In any case, trying to get others to do one's homework is a stupid idea.
