Derby) with some combinations of Windows 7 + x64, persist. For the curious, Java DB is still at version 10.5.3.0 so no need to reinstall if you have it. If you do need to (re)install this but run into this problem, you can find a separate java DB installer at <http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javadb/downloads/>. -- Wayne
