Thanks about the ForkJoin, Mark. Most interesting read! (Even though in some 
enviroments I still have to use Java 1.6!)

I believe that you can get the 'y' code from here:
   http://g.oswego.edu/dl/concurrency-interest/
and make it work on 1.6!
